In light of today, I did a little digging and found this second angle of an X-Up I did while filming w/ the iMiNUSD Team in SF nearly 2 years ago. Here’s a screen shot from the front. I swear my wrists have never felt the same since that day. It’s a shame that this spot just recently got dug out.
Last week Devon Lawson and I went out to catch clips of tricks we’ve been eying for quite some time now. Riding everything from the College campus up the street to the ledge at the bus stop on the corner. Felt good to finally get a camera out and knock out shit in our own neighborhood.
Last week I popped off a few photos of my most up to date Specialized PFIX, w/ the help of Anthony Combs. Personally, I don’t think my bike has ever looked this good. Nice and broken in, w/ a hint of battle scars to prove it. Yet still as solid as the day I first put it together. People always ask me when I’m going to get a new frame, and I honestly don’t know. Here’s an edit that Jeff & I filmed in the hour we spent riding at the local school in our neighborhood. All shot on location in Gilroy California moments before we ate our Thanksgiving dinners. I did a little introduction in the beginning, so I wouldn’t to spend the time writing up a post that nobody is going to read anyways. Bomb Hills Speed Kills did a pretty killer job covering the event, and personally I think the photos he shot from up top the crows nest turned out the best. Partially because of the unique angle and brightly lit background, which creates great contrast. BHSK has an established style and overall consistent look to his photographs. Here’s another photo from the 2012 AFC Uproar that I pulled from Alberto Fox’s Flickr. I spent most of the time shooting video, and only took a few photo’s that day. Which is why I was stoked to see so many photos popping up from all over. Xup’s are another trick that I haven’t done in a while. I still need to check out the new skatepark they just built in SF, hit me up if you wanna roll w/.
Alberto Fox brought his camera to the 2012 AFC Uproar and caught this nice flick of me throwing a tuck no hander during one of the heats. I especially liked this photo because of JeffyD and his girl lurking in the background. Steph was filming from up top the Chrome Truck most of the day. I knew we parked that thing there for a reason. LockedCog took this photo of me hitting a 540 from the judges booth moments before the Pro comp began at the 2012 AFC Uproar. I was real stoked on the ramp setup this year, and was even more glad that it didn’t rain. I rarely ever get to ride ramps or transitions living in San Francisco, which is why it’s always a pleasure when I get to shred these pop up parks.
