NYC – Broadway to Williamsburg Bridge. This was filmed days after I got a GoPro / Gimbal setup and was one of the first times playing with it. I haven’t used the chest mount since, but after chopping this together, I think I’m going to have to. The camera height dropped midway, but hey we’re here to play. // 04.24.18
6 blocks, 3 minutes, 1 wheelie. Jake Lanich, better known as @brothalanich popped up this wheelie the moment we turned on the camera, then proceeded to wind it through the neighborhood on our way to downtown. This is a precursor to a much greater video we filmed during the week I was in San Francisco. Stay tuned.

This bike has it all. The MASH STEEL FRAME has quickly become my favorite build and is the closest thing I’ve had to owning a trick track setup in a really long time. It parts the sea between all my bikes and is literally the perfect middle ground between being a fast track bike and a freestyle build that can handle it all, but most importantly… it can bar spin. I can already feel a resurgence of people looking for setups that have the clearance to kick flip. The MASH steel frame + a little longer fork can do just that. Word on the street is that MASH just got ahold of a few Volume Forks from different generations if you’re looking to upgrade. ‘ll put together a video bike check that goes into greater detail soon, but for now enjoy these studio photos and parts breakdown.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, MASHSF finds a way to one up themselves. Presenting the first Aluminum Frame produced entirely by them. It looks good seeing that big logo. The frame set comes with a full carbon fork that they had custom molded for super tight clearance. This is by and far my favorite graphic color way they’ve released. There’s something about those grays that get me every time. Not to mention I’m a sucker for the whole film esthetic of theirs. Check out a full parts rundown and a handful of other images below.

We’re always looking for a new roof to ride on and lucky for us Portland’s downtown is packed full of empty parking garages. All of which have an elevator that takes you straight to the top. Ideal for most hang out situations, we highly recommend you check your local listings and find a parking structure near you. Just because it’s built for cars doesn’t mean we can’t have our fun.
If you’re not having fun, you’re not doing it right. Filmed on 05.20.2017 this is a video that almost slipped through the cracks. We just never got around to chopping it together. Until last night that is. There will be an even longer SF track bike video with more riders coming out in the next month. So keep your eyes peeled for that and until then enjoy this. Shout out to MASHSF for always giving us a place to hang and for constantly throwing gas on the fire.
420 is a special time of year in San Francisco. It’s celebrated as a national Holiday in The City. We celebrated in our own way by meeting up at the Island (as usual) and riding around until the 420 Alley Cat that they held the day before Mission Crit. Check out that video HERE. Chris “Thrasher” is outta control with those triangle stands downhill. Enough to make your palms sweat just watching the man. Andy sparks stays in the mix and Keo Kid is way too good with those back pedals. It was great having a bunch of people from outta town here for the big crit in The City. Mission Crit is going to be on 420 this year (2019) so mark your calendar and we’ll see you there.
Take it or leaf it. Last winter we made a video of everybody’s favorite Maltipoo in the snow and this year we decided to shoot another little jammer as the seasons were changing. You can’t play in yellow snow, but you sure can play in yellow leaves. Fall is a special time in Portland and we really wanted to film something of Ernie playing in a sea of leaves while we could. The trees are bare now, but this video will help us remember what things looked like on a windy day at “The Rose Gardens” in Peninsula Park. SONG: JEF – why god?
