FIXED GEAR BIKE CHECK – JAKE LANICH’S MASH AC1

June 25, 2019

Jake Lanich loves to keep it fixie and is always running the lightest parts on his bikes. In this episode, Jake walks us through his MASH AC1 build in SF’s financial district. A prime backdrop. Especially when the sun is reflecting off the glass buildings at the end of the day. I’m pretty sure it’s decided that those backwards pedaling super sliders are Jake’s signature trick. Anyways, we can’t pump up Jake enough, he’s one funny dude, and an even better friend to ride with. Press Play and check out a full parts breakdown below.

MASH SF – GASSED IN THE GRASS

May 14, 2019

MASH SF recently hosted their annual shop anniversary, and this year’s was exceptional. They supplied the grub, we brought the ramp, and the people entertained themselves. We hosted a long jump contest as part of the final checkpoint and people sent it. Holding on for dear life through the bone rattling run up that was probably harder to get through than the jump itself. Anyways, shout out to Mike Martin & MASH SF for always being there to bring us together. I’m already looking forward to next year’s BBQ / Swap Meet.

MASH SF – 2019 SHOP ANNIVERSARY PHOTOS

May 11, 2019

Happy Cinco De Mayo Y’all. MASH SF always throws the best events, and on 5.5.19 we all got together in the park to celebrate the Anniversary of the shop on Sanchez st. With a ramp, a race, a bunch of parts for sale and plenty of food to go around we all had a blast getting gassed in the grass. Which looked a lot more green in person. I kinda got a thing against green grass and made it brown instead. (Concrete is king) Keep your eyes peeled for the video that we’ll drop on Monday and until then check out more photos below. MIKE SCHMITT – MASH STEEL BIKE CHECK

May 9, 2019

Mike Schmitt’s MASH SF steel frame build. The other day Mike snapped this carbon bar/stem combo while we were filming in SF. Moments later he rushed to MASH, picked up replacement parts and we were back in action. Here’s a look at his bike before the incident. Check out more images and a full parts breakdown below. Keep your eyes peeled for some new color ways and a complete size restock MASH has coming down the pipeline. This smoke color way is definitely a favorite of mine, but wait until you see what else they’ve been cooking up.

WHEEL TALK “NO REST” VIDEO PREMIERE // SF

April 29, 2019

Going the distance. The Wheel Talk video premiere / long jump contest popped off and here’s the proof. We had fixies sending it more than 15+ feet off the sketchy ramp that we brought to The Island. Speed was key. I can’t wait to make a video piece from all the action, so keep your eyes peeled and we’ll be having more premiere’s like this next month. Holler at me if you’re interested in hosting one of your own.

Shout out to Mission Workshop for letting us host the premiere at their house and MASH SF for keeping the fire burning.

MISSION CRIT 6 – SAN FRANCISCO 2019

April 23, 2019

Mission Crit popped off this year in San Francisco and I’m still outta breath from it. Hundreds of people flocked to the streets to endure some seriously heavy winds and a day full of racing. James Grady deserves an award for the hard work he puts into this event year after year. We wouldn’t have these good times if it wasn’t for his dedication to the community and love for the scene. Respect and thank you everyone else who helped out, volunteered, or lifted a finger to make this happen. We appreciate everything you do.

We through more high fives than we could count and screamed “FAAASTER” at just about everyone who raced. That being said, we’re going to let words take a back seat from here and let the photos do the talking. Ride fast, take chances, and have fun. We’ll catch you later.

FIXED GEAR DASH CAM – NYC APRIL 2018

April 5, 2019

NYCBroadway to Williamsburg Bridge. This was filmed days after I got a GoPro / Gimbal setup and was one of the first times playing with it. I haven’t used the chest mount since, but after chopping this together, I think I’m going to have to. The camera height dropped midway, but hey we’re here to play. // 04.24.18
