Nothing brings a family together like the Super Bowl, and we couldn’t agree more. For this year’s big game, we hit the streets of San Francisco for a day filled of false starts, interceptions, city poop, field goals and the occasional trick or two. I woke up Sunday morning, made a couple calls and met up with the dudes downtown where we rode from the late afternoon until the sunset. This is what you can find us doing on any given weekend. With another solid year behind us, we figured we clean out our closet and release SHREDWELL2 to the public. Filmed over the course of 2011-2012 this 38 minute long, full length motion picture features riders from the Grime Team as well as other influential members of the FGFS community. Stop what you’re doing, press play and enjoy. Happy new year from TURF & Wheel Talk.
As we gear up for the new year, we figured we’d spread a little holiday cheer and release the latest Wheel Talk production we’ve been working on. Devon Lawson & I (Matt Reyes) have been in cahoots with the dudes from Premier Fits for a while now and are just now unveiling our welcome to the team video. Major thanks to PF for lacing us up some sweet headwear and shout out to Anthony Combs for coming through with a quick cameo on the opening clip. Consider this an early Christmas present from us to you, press play and enjoy. Read more below to check out some screen shots and watch the video on youtube.

After more than 3 months of surfing the couches at our pad in Alameda, Dew Sippawit & Jaoa Danaikrit reluctantly flew back to Thailand last month. We celebrated their final day in the States by kicking back and cutting loose at the local skatepark. A couple of dudes from San Jose drove up the day before to ride and bid the Thai boys a proper farewell. We stacked a ton of footage while they were here, and just got back from a trip to China, so keep your eyes peeled for more of Dew & Jaoa coming in the near future. Read more and check out some stills from the video below.
After nearly a year in the making and being put on the back burner in order to produce “Word Is Bond“, here’s the official video from the Wheel Talk Trip to Japan. Filmed over the course of our two week stay and was made possible because of our dudes from Fish & Chips Crew. After traveling around the Southern tip of Japan on a 9 State tour, and flying out to Tokyo to visit Marco we were only able to scratch the surface on what unreal street spots Japan had to offer. I don’t know if there’s much more I can say about this trip that I haven’t already, so press play and check out some screenshots below.
Alex Gonzalez‘s Welcome to BreakBrake17 was filmed over the course of two days in San Francisco. I followed him around the city as we ripped around China Town, cleaned up trash down alleyways and bombed between the trolley tracks on California St. It’s rare to see people hopping around and doing track tricks on an aluminum frame. People now a days either ride track bikes built for speed or have transitioned into riding Fixed Freestyle. Alex is one of the few people who blends both styles of riding and shreds everywhere he goes. Stop reading, press play and enjoy.
Jaoa Danaikrit just released another one of the sections he put together for Can’t Fool The Youth 3 (CFTY3). This one features Dew Sippawit and himself riding around South Korea after their stay here in The States last year. Jaoa does an incredible job capturing the spirit of the trip with good vibes & good tunes the whole way through. I appreciated the fact that there was a healthy mix of not only solid riding, but b-roll shots of the culture and the places they saw along the way. It made me feel like I was right there along with them as they explored what Korea had to offer. Check out some screen shots I pulled below.
