I miss San Francisco. We move where the wind takes us and word on the street is there’s a strong wind blowing North. Anyways, I was doing some spring cleaning and stumbled across this batch of photos that were never shared on here, so I figured I’d take the time to put this post together. I hope everyone is doing well out there and I’ll see/talk to you soon.

Who doesn’t love leftover pizza. The team really came together for this one, like knights of the round table. Actually this is just a bunch of clips from 2019 that didn’t make their way into other videos edits. I knew there were some extra clips floating around and I’m really glad I went back through to see what didn’t make the first cut. “IT’S REGULAR”. Just another day in the neighborhood. Slam Dunk Ernie & I met up with Jake Lanich & Andy Sparks in Downtown San Francisco to ride bikes and do what we always do. We hope that everyone can get back to doing what they love with the ones they love doing it with again in the near future. But until then, here’s a day video of some of the good times we share together on a regular basis. Check out the songs I made for the video below as well as 40 different screen shots. You know I keep that MF thang on me. Musguards that is. When winter hits in San Francisco, keeping a pair of fenders on you is crucial. My favorite part about the Musguard system is the convenience of rolling them up and storing them in your backpack when they’re not needed. The rollablity and small form factor make it easy to keep them on you at all times for those “just in case” type moments. I used them 9 months out of the year when we lived in Portland and bring them with me whenever I travel. They’ve saved the day more times than I can count.
Jake, Daniel & I recently dropped a video of us putting them to work. It didn’t do much for the rain falling from above, but it definitely stopped most of the street water from splashing up on us. Which is honestly the only water I’m concerned about. Haha. There’s nothing like a mouthful of street sludge. We highly recommend MUSGUARD to anybody looking for a fender solution. 10 outta 10 would buy again and again.

Chances are that if you seen Jake Lanich riding around town, he’s probably wearing this backpack. With enough space to carry just about everything you own, Inside Line Equipment pulled all the stops in the creation of this bag. I’m pretty sure that Jake just pulls over at the end of the day, opens his bag, and climbs in it for the night. It’s literally that spacious. The homie Evian rocks the same ILE XL Backpack for food delivery but his is orange, and if you know Evian, that couldn’t be more perfect for him. It’s literally his everyday color way.

Happy holidays everyone. It’s high tide here in San Francisco and we decided to meet up at the Clocktower. As usual. We kept it close and rode wheelies / did fixed gear tricks along Embarcadero before ending up at one of my favorite warehouse spots along the pier. Santos said “JUMP YOUR BIKE” and he’s doing his best to lead by example. What a fine role model. Later that night, Jake 100 + the London fam rolled up to The City. Young Tool is a hometown hero in the Bay Area. If you know of Tool then I’m sure you’ve seen him work the bars and wild out at any given ride out or hang out spot. Jake Lanich, Patrick Curley AKA “Patrick Fixie King” & I met up with him in downtown San Francisco. The streets were wet, the air was warm, and there was hardly a car on the road in the Financial district. We took full advantage of both that and all of the glowing lights from the new bus terminal and convention center. Looking forward to this whole lockdown business to be over with so we can all attempt to get back to life as we used to know it. Times change, but the will to ride lives on.

With the release of the recent video of Robert Gaines, we figured it was a proper time to post some photos of the man as well. I can’t say it enough, but it’s worth repeating. It was an absolute pleasure having Rob in town. He must have packed a big bag because he brought a lot of great energy with him. Maybe we’ll have to make our way to Australia to shred with him in Melbourne. What do y’all think? Should we plan a trip and make it happen?
