FGFS PORTLAND – 35MM

September 30, 2017

Life is better with grain. Film photos always have such stronger feels and carry such a greater reward for capturing the moment with a single click. It’s been minute since the homies from down south were in town. Still having a hard time calling Portland a city. Feels more like a suburb with a skyline. More trees than buildings over 2 stories tall.

I tried shooting an old roll of color Kodachrome while they were here. Lets just say it didn’t work out as planned. Haha. It basically came out as a bunch of gray images. That roll aside, here are some photos that did turn out. Until next time my dudes. (Riders: Miguel Zendejas, Johnathan Ball, Josh Silva, Ramon Antonio III, Sam Allgood)

CHROME INDUSTRIES – GET OUT HERE PT. 1

September 7, 2017

Earlier this Summer I called in a favor from a couple of the boys to do this photoshoot for Chrome Industries. We decided to film this quick video piece as well since we were in our element and had some time on our hands. With SOMA West Skatepark as the backdrop, it wasn’t hard to stack enough for this 46 second cut. Shout out to Josh & Gabe for coming out to have a good time.

Featuring:
Josh Silva (Fixed Gear Freestyle)
Gabriel May (Skateboard)
Bryce Richardson (Vibe Technician)

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY 2016

February 21, 2016

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and we still don’t know who’s playing. This is the second time we’ve filmed one of these videos and it never stops being a riot. We ran into a bunch of wheelie boys, tossed around the old pig skin, and came up with a couple plays of our own. Press play and check out some screen shots below.

First things first, huge shout out to everybody who came to the the 2015 SF Bike Expo to ride, kick it and support the scene. It’s times like this and friends of this caliber that remind me of why I started riding FGFS to begin with. None of this would have been possible without you, and after seeing the stoke this event cultivated we’re going to pick up the pace on hosting more FGFS Jams of our own. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this happen and keep your eyes peeled for the video of the event. Coverage of the 2015 SF Bike Expo provided by Suck My Cog & Wheel Talk

FGFS SUPER BOWL SUNDAY 2015

February 6, 2015

Nothing brings a family together like the Super Bowl, and we couldn’t agree more. For this year’s big game, we hit the streets of San Francisco for a day filled of false starts, interceptions, city poop, field goals and the occasional trick or two. I woke up Sunday morning, made a couple calls and met up with the dudes downtown where we rode from the late afternoon until the sunset. This is what you can find us doing on any given weekend. HARNESS THE GNARNESS VIDEO

December 3, 2014

It’s a wrap folks. After a couple weeks in the editing booth this is the official coverage of the first Harness The Gnarness Jam in Oakland. Big thanks to everyone who came out to ride, film, kick it and make this event such a good time. It couldn’t have been done without you. We plan to make it a series of Jams hosted by different riders in the city of their choice. So keep your ear to the ground because this may be the first, but it certainly won’t be the last. Check out some screen shots below.
