JONAH KESSEL + SADIO

April 13, 2012

Sadio Bikes welcomes Jonah Kessel as the newest member to the AM Team. Kessel came up to San Francisco to film this edit with me over spring break. We spent 2 days filming in SF, and another day hanging out + riding in SJ, with the natives. The kid has some mad style for only being 14 years old. It’s young kids like this that are going to keep this sport alive and well.

ED WONKA | ROCKETMAN

April 13, 2012

iMiNUSD posted this photo I took of Ed Wonka checking out this shitty little aluminum handrail, while he was filming with me in SF. The moment he went for it, it kicked him over the bars and sent him flying like a rocket man 10+ feet out. That’s why you don’t mess with aluminum hand rails.

SCOTT HORTON | LATE NIGHT

April 12, 2012

Here’s an old photo of Scott Horton that I found lying around collecting digital dust. I miss mobbing around the city at night with the boys. Less tourists, less security, and most importantly less time spent worried about getting the boot at all the spots that are on lock down during the day.

MATT REYES | FEEBLE TUCK

April 12, 2012

It’s always a shame to see a spot go, and the ledges on Gough and McCoppin is a spot that will be greatly missed, by both the bike and skate communities alike. Jeffrey Munoz caught this photo of me as I learned feeble tuck no handers, just a few days before the capped the shit out of em’. It brings a tear to my eye that someone would ruin such a beautiful thing.

JONAH KESSEL | WALLRIDE

April 11, 2012

Took this shot of Jonah Kessel riding the banked walls out front of the Federal Building in SF. Their pathetic use of skate stops lining the wall don’t really do much other than make it more interesting. Next time, save your government money and just let us ride.

MATT REYES | SF SKATEPARK

April 10, 2012

Living in San Francisco, I rarely get the chance to ride transitions. It’s street or nothing. So last week when we were riding by Potrero Skate Park in the Mission, I had to make a stop and ride it. At a place like this, the best thing to do is just drop your bag and start riding, before the locals get a chance to start shouting shit. They usually quiet down once they see you can hold your own. TOREY THORNTON + BB17

April 10, 2012

I slapped together this BB17 Ad for Torey Thornton using a photo I took of him when we rode around the City in search of spots in the rain a few weeks back. Torey sure does man handle that big bike around, rolling right over cars and anything else in his way w/ those monster truck wheels.
