Yesterday Joshua Boothby laid down some of the cleanest backflips I’ve ever seen at the 2nd annual Red Bull Ride + Style. I was blown away by the level of progression from last year. Everyone rode so hard it was unbelievable some of the shit that went down. The ramps this year were on point and pushed everyone to dig deep and see what they’re capable of. I can’t wait for someone to bust a flip riding street.

If you’re ever tired from riding, and just need a place to sit down, then look no further than the bike between your legs. With this tried and true technique, you’ll be able to pop a squat wherever you may be. Good conditions, bad conditions, the bicycle seat has you covered. Try it now while our limited time offer of Free99 still stands.
The Grime put together this teaser of our up and coming full length, Shredwell2. I’ve dedicated the last 4+ months of filming this video, with the help of Mike, Hambone, and SKYLMT‘s very own Colby Elrick. Everybody broke themselves off and went hard for this one. I have so much more faith in the people I ride w/ after spending time filming with them. We’ll be premiering a rough cut of the video at Red Bull Ride + Style. I’ll keep you posted on the time and location of the screening.
Oscar Kahn recently showed up in San Jose without warning for the Red Bull Ride + Style competition at the end of the month. I spent some time on Saturday riding w/ the man from across the pond. Oscar has one of the best personalities in Fixed Freestyle. He’s a bloody fucking riot to say the least, and is always doing something ridiculous. be on the look out for more of Oscar riding California in the months to come.
I filmed this video of the Cardiel x Chrome release party, at their store front in SF. With the shop stacked full of people, beer, and good music everyone let loose + chopped it up on the dance floor. Even the guys from Fish N’ Chips made an appearance to teach us Americans some new dance moves. This had to be the craziest Chrome party I’ve ever been to, and most certainly not the last.
I took this picture of Jonah Kessel’s SADIO Booster Fork, while he was up here in the city a few weeks ago. The Booster Fork is probably one of my favorite parts from SADIO, and is available in Optimus Prime colors. (420ac, 430ac) This Spring, they’ll have an entire line up of Light products. I don’t know how they can make this fork any lighter than it already is. Especially when it is one of the lightest forks on the market.
Jeff Dempler & myself teamed up to film this day edit for iMiNUSD in San Francisco last weekend. This video barely even shows the amount of security we deal with on the daily. It’s a shame I have to feel so sketchy doing something I love. Everywhere we go it’s a game of “who’s got clips here right quick?” Despite that we still managed to stack up quite a few clips for just a day’s worth of filming. Thanks to The Team
