This morning I was clearing out the archives I came across these photos from when I first got on Bombtrack and started riding the DASH earlier this year. It’s been more than 7 months since then and I think it’s safe to say that this is by and far the best FGFS build straight outta the box that I’ve ever ridden. The small wheel base feels like a dream and makes it effortless to snap 360s around and sit off to the side of the bike. It’s a completely different beast to tame and has made me fall in love with FGFS all over again. Check out more photos below.
The day before Michael Penrose drove back to his native land of Long Beach, I pulled his Bombtrack Dash out front of our house here in San Francisco and shot a couple quick photos of it. He’s made a few minor changes to his FGFS build since these photos were taken, and sent over THIS recent shot of his bike. Check out other photos below, along w/ a full list of parts.
After riding the BOMBTRACK DASH for the last 6 months I can honestly say that it’s one of the best FGFS setups I’ve ever ridden. It’s a solid build fresh out of the box and comes complete with everything you need but pegs. The only modification I made right out of the gate was beefing up the gear ratio to something you can really crank down on. The small seat tube and tight wheelbase give it a real responsive feel, that has already boosted my confidence and elevated riding ability. I’m super hyped to be a part of the team and can’t wait to see where we take it from here. Read more below to see a full parts breakdown and a bunch of detail shots.
After nearly 3 months of trying to keep things under wraps while filming for this video we’re finally ready to announce my introduction to the BOMBTRACK Team. Filmed on location here in San Francisco, we roamed all over the neighborhood in search of short-lived spots from all of the constant construction the city seems to be cemented in. In addition to stopping on the street for a quick clip, we checked off a bunch of spots off from the endless bucket list of places we’ve been wanting to ride. Check out some screen shots from the video below and head over to BOMBTRACK to check out what they’re working with.
With the Fixed Gear Freestyle scene continuing to grow here in San Francisco, we’ve been playing host for more and more people coming to the Bay Area to ride & kick it. Michael Penrose is the latest addition to our household and has been in town for nearly a week now. Here’s a couple photos from the first spot of our fist day exploring the streets of SF. For those who are curious, Michael is on a Bombtrack Dash. Keep your eyes peeled for more photos of Michael’s stay in the next couple weeks.
