We’re back at it with another episode of “The Regular Show” here in San Francisco. This time the team rides 3rd & Army along with some other spots in the neighborhood. We burnt some rubber and had some laughs while hanging out on another smoggy day in California. This one speaks for itself, so press play and we’ll see you next time on Wheel Talk.
Tomorrow morning we’re dropping the video from this day so I figured I’d share some photos prior to its release. Shout out to all the homies here in San Francisco who have been a pillar of strength and support for both me and each other over the years. I can’t imagine where we’d be if it wasn’t for these bikes we ride and the good times we have because of it. It’s truly a cornerstone to which this house was built.
The squad continues to grow and so does our group chat which blows up 70% of the day. Haha. It’s a beautiful thing. Anthony Combs came out and brought with him his yellow Grime G.O.A.T build which is a staple in the FGFS frame lineage and a true blast from the past. Joshua Boothby came out of retirement and his riding makes it look like he never left. Josh Silva did donuts and jumped over his car at one point. Jimmy Watcha came through with the quick-hitting combos at 3rd & Army. And Andy Sparks laid down some of his signature moves in his even more signature attire. Anyways, keep your eyes peeled for the video release and we’ll catch you next time. Be good.

Anthony Combs & Mike Jay. It feels like the good old days when everyone gets together in SF like this. China Banks, The Island, all of it. The vibes are good when settings like this see so many familiar faces. I swear every time I see Mike Jay he’s riding a different bike. He always did have the hottest builds, but Combs still has the highest hops. He could probably still throw a bar spin over you if you laid down. Any bike, doesn’t matter, as long as it can bar spin, he’ll huck it. Until next time fellas, let’s make this a more regular thing.

We all woke up feeling crispy the day after Jaoa Danaikrit’s Birthday. That being said we decided to keep it mellow and spend the day at the arcade. Ground Kontrol is one of our local watering holes and is an endless source of entertainment. Afterwards we decided to take the long way home and go for a quick jaunt through “Forest Park” to show Devon and Anthony some of the other things the great state of Oregon has to offer. I think we bit off more than we could chew when both Jaoa and I started to bonk halfway along the trail. Never the less, we all made it home in one piece. Just in time to BBQ before the sun went down. It was really amazing to have all the homies in town at the same time, and I already miss having Jaoa around the house. We’ll have to get the band back together more often. Until next time.
We turned things up to eleven this year for Jaoa Danaikrit’s Birthday. It felt like a reunion, or better yet like we were getting the band back together having most of the original Wheel Talk team assembled for the first time in a long time. Jaoa flew back to Thailand yesterday and my heart already misses him. I’m really glad that we had the chance to celebrate his Birthday before he left and even more glad that Anthony & Devon came to add to the celebration. Until next time my dudes, and happy birthday Jaoa. Another good year.
It’s Super Bowl Sunday here in San Francisco and this the third year running we’ve assembled the team to ride bikes instead of watching the football. Spots over Sports.

Our good friends & partners in crime at TURF Bikes just released the friends section from the full length video we made in 2014. If you never saw this or just haven’t watched it in a while, then go ahead and do yourself a favor by pressing play and getting back up to speed. The majority of the footage was shot during the cross country road trip everyone to from NY to CA for the 2013 Red Bull Ride & Style. Keep your eyes peeled for the last 3 sections of the video dropping this month.
Aside from the friends section of the video, this is the only other part that has multiple riders grouped under the same umbrella. Anthony Combs, Jonathan Davis, and Christian Hamrick’s part feature a wide variety of locations that spans all the way across the US. Check out some screen shots below as well as the complete 30 minutes of “Word Is Bond“.
