WHEEL TALK – PLUS ULTRA

June 11, 2020

Who doesn’t love leftover pizza. The team really came together for this one, like knights of the round table. Actually this is just a bunch of clips from 2019 that didn’t make their way into other videos edits. I knew there were some extra clips floating around and I’m really glad I went back through to see what didn’t make the first cut. Check out nearly 50 screen shots as well as the custom soundtrack to the video below.

FIXED GEAR SF – IT’S REGULAR

May 27, 2020

“IT’S REGULAR”. Just another day in the neighborhood. Slam Dunk Ernie & I met up with Jake Lanich & Andy Sparks in Downtown San Francisco to ride bikes and do what we always do. We hope that everyone can get back to doing what they love with the ones they love doing it with again in the near future. But until then, here’s a day video of some of the good times we share together on a regular basis. Check out the songs I made for the video below as well as 40 different screen shots. What do you think? Same time next week?

EVERYTHING’S BEEN DONE – FEATURING MATT REYES

May 25, 2020

I speak fixie better than english. Dustin convinced me to speak on camera which is actually pretty rare. I’m in front of the camera occasionally, but I’m always riding a bike which makes it a lot easier. I recently spent an hour with Dustin Klein on his Podcast “Everything’s Been Done” and talked about the past, present and future.  If you’re into long form conversations and got some time on your hands, then perhaps this video is for you. Shout out to DKLEIN for hosting me on his world renowned talk show, I look forward to more chances to hang out and chat. Until next time.

FIXED GEAR SF – HOW TO RIDE YOUR BIKE IN THE RAIN

May 22, 2020

Heavy rains brought flash floods in San Francisco, but that didn’t stop us from going out and riding bikes. This is more of a demonstration than it is a how to but there really isn’t much to riding in the rain. Get yourself some fenders, in our case these “Musguards” and bring a change of clothes if you’re going somewhere. That’s it. After rolling around until our clothes weighed an extra 9lbs, we eventually made our way to MASH SF where Mike Martin gave us both shelter and fresh socks. Shout outs to MASH for always taking care of us. I love a good rainy day in SF. “It’s Just Water” – SMACKTRACKZ

FIXED GEAR / BIKE LIFE – HIGH TIDE IN SAN FRANCISCO

April 21, 2020

Happy holidays everyone. It’s high tide here in San Francisco and we decided to meet up at the Clocktower. As usual. We kept it close and rode wheelies / did fixed gear tricks along Embarcadero before ending up at one of my favorite warehouse spots along the pier. Santos said “JUMP YOUR BIKE” and he’s doing his best to lead by example. What a fine role model. Later that night, Jake 100 + the London fam rolled up to The City. Stay tuned for more bike videos in the Bay Area. RIDERS: Jakob Santos // Andy Sparks // Matt Reyes // Josh Boothby // Matt Bastard // Josh Silva // Designer Lamar

WHEEL TALK WELCOMES ANDY SPARKS TO THE TEAM

April 10, 2020

Your favorite rider’s favorite rider. Wheel Talk proudly welcome’s ANDY SPARKS to the team. Andy has basically been on the team for the last couple years already, but we decided to make it official with this video. He’s played a huge part in the Bay Area Fixed Gear scene for years and is one of our favorite dudes on two wheels. Nothing but positive energy, endless flow, and a bag of tricks deep enough to travel back in time to the days of curb dogs. Shout out to the homie Jeff Osborn (JEF) for the soundtrack. Press play and enjoy.

BIKE LIFE OAKLAND – TOWN PARK

April 2, 2020

First stop, Town Park. Jake 100, CBreezy, JN, Issa & Grady met up with me at the Civic Center Bart Station in San Francisco where we to took the train to Oakland. After a few quick stops we hopped off the Bart and rode to Town Park to meet up with the rest of the crew for the day. Santos laid it down as usual, Andy Sparks gave us some of that signature flare, Gus Molina caught a quick clip and the London Boys supplied the rest of the action.

Shout out to the homie JEF for the banging soundtrack in this one, check out more of his music on sound cloud if you haven’t already as well as the new band he started “9th Heaven”.

FIXED GEAR PORTLAND – “SUFFERING”

March 28, 2020

Tyler Johnson came to Portland to ride with us the month before I moved to LA and brought with him a trick or two I’ve never seen in person before “The Deathtruck”. Locals Devin Tolman & Ramon Antonio held it down for their hometown and brought us to a spot or two we’ve never been to. If you’re ever in town holler a Devin, he knows all the best photo spots. Shout out to the homie Bryce from Belonging for providing the amazing soundtrack to this video. I highly recommend you check out more of their work, especially if you’re in the PNW and are into live music. Anyways, we’ll have to make a trip up North sometime soon to visit everyone. What do you think? Next stop Seattle?
