Christian Hamrick came to our humble island abode to catch clips and kick it w/ us on the West Coast. While he was here, I snapped off this photo of him posted up next to his freshly built Capone Frame. We’ve been talking to the dudes who run Capone in China and are stoked that they’re sending out one of their riders (Frozenmo). Check out some more FGFS stuff coming out of China HERE.

Ed “Wonka” LaForte’s section is sure to impress considering there’s few people who are willing and able to try some of the tricks Ed does. I was real stoked when I caught glimpse of this photo of Devon Lawson throwing a fully extended Suicide No Hander in Thailand. These are the last photos I took of Devon Lawson on American soil before he flew overseas on a trip to Thailand. He’s been spending time w/ Jaoa Danaikrit (the only international member of the Wheel Talk Team), Dew Sippawit, and the rest of the Fixed Freestyle scene out there before he heads back to the states in time for the 2014 Red Bull Ride & Style. If you haven’t heard that Red Bull Ride & Style is coming back to San Francisco, then you probably live under a rock. Christian Hamrick collected clips for the Turf Bikes “Word Is Bond” Video while he was on the Coast to Ghost Trip and during a short visit he made to the West Coast. Hambone is currently living in Kansas City, a place which I’m told has unreal street spots. We might just have to make a trip out there to investigate these so called spots. If you live near San Jose, come out to the premiere being held at iMiNUSD on Saturday April 12th. We’re going to meet up and ride earlier during the day and then head to ID doors open at 7:30. Here’s a bunch of 35mm shots that we took last weekend for the third installment of the TURF Sundaze Series. There’s few things more rewarding than shooting action shots on film. It’s a fingers crossed kind of business where knowledge of your craft makes all the difference. For this week’s installment Mike Schmitt & I showed up at Ed’s house unannounced. Part of which made me feel like a kid again, back when showing up to a friend’s house to see if they can come out and play was mandatory. After a some morning breakfast at Ed’s we headed into Oakland in search of new shit to shred. Tonight we’re premiering “Word Is Bond” in San Francisco. If you live in the area you should come out to Lower Branch at 8pm & kick it with the rest of the Fixed Freestyle scene here in the Bay. Here’s some screen shots of Jimmy Watcha, as motivation to make it to the event. Jimmy may be the youngest member on the Turf Mob, be he holds his own and manhandles his bike like a lion tamer. This is it folks, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Here’s the official dates for the Turf Bikes “Word Is Bond” Video Premieres. We’ll be having 2 events before the internet release on April 20th. The San Francisco Premiere will be at Lower Branch in the Tenderloin. Admission will be 2 dollars and we’ll be having a photo exhibition as well. Dave Beard, Ed Wonka & I collaborated to compile some of the better photos we’ve shot this year. On April 12th we’re having another ride / premiere in San Jose. We’re meeting up in Down Town SJ around 4 and riding spots until we head over to iMiNUSD.
